Nature of the service

MoveBird is a lead-generation technology platform. MoveBird is not a moving company or a household-goods broker, does not provide transportation estimates, and does not arrange, book, or select movers on your behalf.

MoveBird does not guarantee, endorse, certify, or insure any moving company. Always independently evaluate a company and verify applicable licensing or registration before hiring.

Consumer responsibilities

• Provide accurate move information.
• Independently evaluate any company you consider hiring.
• Verify applicable licensing or registration before entering an agreement.

Moving company responsibilities

• Submit accurate legal and authority information.
• Disclose whether you act as a carrier or a broker for a given move.
• Contact consumers only about requests you have legitimately unlocked.
• Comply with applicable marketing, telephone and consumer protection laws.

Credits and subscriptions

Credits are a unit of platform access, not a transportation payment. Unlocking an opportunity spends credits at the displayed cost. A company is never charged twice for the same opportunity. Subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment processor and are only treated as active once that processor confirms payment.

Disputes between consumers and companies

Any agreement for a move is between the consumer and the moving company. MoveBird is not a party to that agreement and does not arbitrate, guarantee performance, or insure a move.
